The Cricut can use a Sharpie marker without any adapter, but setting the height is tricky. This gauge lets you get the Sharpie in the right position for drawing nice fat lines.
**To use:**
* Turn off the machine so you can move the tool head
* Slide the gauge under the tool head, move the head down so it touches the gauge
* Insert the Sharpie, pressing it gently against the gauge
* Close the lock, making sure the Sharpie doesn't move up
* Just before printing, wipe the Sharpie tip with a piece of scrap paper to warm it up
