# Christmas tree stand adapter
This is a replacement / reinforcement stand for a fake Christmas tree whose original plastic base legs fell off (as they usually do right before December).
The original tree base had a hexagonal shape, but with alternating edge lengths:
- Long sides: 24.15 mm
- Short sides: 17.85 mm
This stand is designed to "encapsulate" (wrap around / fit over) the existing base — without needing to modify the tree stump — one can reuse the original mounting point just as it was. The distance between opposite legs is approximately 250 mm.
## Printing parameters
- **Material**: PLA (works perfectly fine for indoor use)
- **Infill**: ~10%
- **Supports**: required (to maintain three-point stability - if you are sure your ground is flat - go ahead and make the base flat)
- **Orientation**: print upright
- **Layer height**: 0.24 mm
- **Perimeters**: 2-3
