Camera features:
uses the onboard wireless but you could add a USB alternative
not waterproof, designed for hot environment hence the ventilation
uses cronjob to run script that schedules cronjobs to turn the IR on/off for daylight/dark

Using this camera but this is a newer version that has a third photo-cell so the IR Cut filter switches in and out automatically:

I have it setup streaming RTSP to a Pi 4 runing MotionEye. If I get another with the third cell I'll update the case.

UPDATE: I found that I needed to add a Wifi dongle to get better range. The original shell had the mounting support right where the USB port is located. I moved the mounting support to one side and now the power and USB are available. The new case is:
