This is a hook which clips onto a crutch, with the purpose of holding a bag from the crutch itself.
I had an accident recently for which I'm now in crutches and wearing a bag isn't safe so I was after some way of carrying things without causing further damage.
This hook simply clips onto the crutch above the handle and provides a hook at the back of the crutch.
This is designed for a "Coopers" crutch and should fit any crutch that is 25.5mm thick.
There are two designs included here, version 1 and 2. The photos are of Version 2. The difference between the two versions is that version 2 has a larger hook, version 1 has a smaller hook but both include reinforcement to provide extra strength.
I would advise testing the strength of your hook before you rely on it for carrying goods outside of the house. Mine seems really good for carrying a jacket or a lightweight bag, but it wouldn't be suitable for a bag of shopping etc.
To fit it, angle it on it's front (with the hook
