Crystal power egg

Originally I was not going to post this till easter as I was thinking to enter it in the contest (assuming there would be some type of egg contest). but I see there is a contest for “Old world Magic” This really fits into that.I'm really proud of this creation. Funny thing is, this was kinda a mistake. I was going for a different look. I wanted the base to be these twisting vines or base coming up from the center. what I ended up with was getting roots coming out of the ground. As I started making this I realized I wanted to keep going to see how this was going to turn out. As a favorite artist of mine would often say “happy mistake” ("We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents" - Bob Ross)I made this for a friend.
