It is a very simple remix. I did not have the needed square nut so I performed a few minor changes to the good original design.
I changed the clearance of the 8mm rod.
The part must be drilled to 8mm slowly to obtain a very tight fit on the linear rod, the M3 is also a tight fit.
Assembly notes:
- To put the M3 nuts you need a good long pair of pliers you place the nut and you press a lot, also you can put some heat on the M3 nut to soften the plastic with a solder iron for instance.
- I put some material (for instance old blue tape) in the hole holding the rod to ensure it does not move.
I printed mines with 0.2mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle, 4 insets, 8 Top/Bottom layers and 30% Strong Hex infill, PLA at 220C, slow speed and no cooling.
