Mounting base for the Cube's Here GPS unit. Designed to mount on the top flat surface of a ground rover.
Need four 5mm mounting screws to secure the base to the rover. Screw hole spacing is 59.06mm.
No mechanical means provided at this time to secure the Here GPS to the mounting base. Can be secured with silicon sealant or thing double sided tape, or other suitable adhesive.
2018 April 28 - added version 02 of mount base. This version adds holes for securing the Here GPS from the bottom. Need to replace the original case machine screws. Rear screw is 3mmx10mm, front two are 3mmx12mm. Button head screws should not protrude - don't have any stainless steel versions on hand to verify. Am using cap screws which protrude below the bottom.
2018 April 29 - added a "tower" to raise the GPS from the rover's top deck, but really made to hold two weatherproof USB connectors and a weatherproof Ethernet connector. Added a version without the holes in case anybody wants to use Meshmixer
