Cubism is a desk organizer designed to adapt to any user or desk environment. It uses a modular system that allows the user to print however many components desired, and arrange them to best fit the specific desk environment being used. In a time where at home learning is progressing to quickly be the norm, having a desk organizer system that adapts to your needs is pivotal.
If this design were to be done over again, exploring different geometries, possibly hexagons or pentagons, to achieve a modular system could prove quite beneficial.
3D printing strengthens this design because of its size, simplicity, and aesthetics. This design fits on most (if not all) printer beds. The simplicity of the design allows the printers to be able to feasibly print. The aesthetics encourage the use of color, enabling the user to make the desk organizer their own.
