The main advantage of this design is the introduccion of silenblock wich reduces the random vibrations, furthemore creates enough space for the wiring; and a new system to launch the solar cells. This model can be reproduced in diferent materials depending of the clients Budget using FDM or 3D laser printing technologies. The chasis and the hinges of the solar panels are all integrated into one piece to reduce the number of components and of course weight and assembling time. The geometry of the design is based on triangles to increase the structural resistance and at the same time the gaps allow the heat to escape. The chasis design is made of titanium and the solar panels are made of carbón fiber to obtaine less weight with maximun mechanical resistance. The main advantage of this design comes from the silenblock introduced between the chasis and the boards reducing the random vibes and creating more space for the wiring between the electronic boards. The solar panel unfolding system of cubox admits up to nine solar panels but the standard versión comes with five cells to reduce cost and weight.
