Cupholder

I have an '85 Chevy Suburban with a bench seat. I wanted a cupholder for the truck, but didn't want to mount anything on the dash.
There's a great spot on the transmission hump next to the 4wd shifter, so I designed a simple cupholder in OpenSCAD and printed it out. Works great.

This could probably work in a variety of other applications as well. I included the original OpenSCAD code, so it should be fairly simple to adjust sizes for some other applications.

Print 1 top, 1 base, and 4 pillars.

UPDATE: I decided I wanted the cupholder to be level. The transmission hump on my truck is angled, so I made a new base that is wedge shaped. I added a recess into the bottom of the wedge and epoxied in a heavy weight (a chunk of steel bar). This works great. The original files are still here, but I have added the wedge as a separate file as well as the new combined base.

The cup holes are fairly large, so they will fit large sodas or some of my big coffee mugs I use while traveling.
