I had a couple windows in a corner which I wanted a curtain rod for. Curtain rods are surprisingly expensive, especially once you start getting special requirements like a tight corner that you need to fit them into. On the other hand, EMT conduit is cheap, easy to work with, and is more than strong enough to hold curtains.
The curtain rod itself is a 1/2" EMT conduit that was cut and bent at the appropriate place (using the appropriate EMT bending tool).
This bracket was paired with some adjustable curtain rod brackets from Amazon: [Kenney KN85293 Adjustable Curtain Rod Brackets](https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00MEM3ZBI)
The curtain rod insert was designed to fit the finials I picked up from Lowes: [Umbra 2-Pack Nickel Steel Curtain Rod Finials](https://www.lowes.ca/curtain-finials/umbra-2-pack-nickel-steel-curtain-rod-finials_g2815555.html)
