Custom Banister Clip (Parametric)

PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS AT THE BOTTOM FOR HOW TO CUSTOMIZE! :) These are simple parametric banister clips I designed for holiday decorating. They slide over a railing or ledge and give you a clean attachment point for things like stockings, garland, ornaments, or string lights. The dimensions are fully customizable in MakerWorld, so you can adjust the thickness, width, and hook depth to match whatever railing or mantle you’re working with. The hook section is strong enough for typical holiday decor and small hanging items, but you can scale it up if you need more support. They print great in PLA with no supports. If you want extra strength, PETG works well too. I prefer a slightly higher infill for the hook portion just to keep everything solid once the stockings fill up. These have been really handy for keeping things looking tidy without using nails or tape, especially around Christmas when we’re hanging stockings and lights from the banister.
