Custom Spool Storage (5-7 Spools)

Major Design Update - Version 2 (11/9/2025)This is a custom spool storage that utilizes the 30qt Heavy Duty Brightroom storage box from Target. It can store up to seven spools of filament. I normally use it for five spools, but there is room on top to store a one to two more in a pinch. There is also a spot for a hygrometer if you want. The major updates for Version 2 are:Reduced Size - The old design was much taller and bulkier. This new design uses about half the filament of the old design.More Efficient Use of Space - The spools are now much lower and offset to the side. This opens up space above the spools to store 1-2 more spools (see pictures). For two spools it helps if they are not full as you need to “nest” them together a bit.Since the spools are offset to the side you can use a corner desiccant holder and are able to access it without removing the spools.
