Customise this badge with Inkscape!
V2 includes better structure of the holes at the top, I used V1 for many months but the holes failed eventually - this one should last better.
To customise:
Draw the shape you want, difference it from the blank back to cut out (select the card back, then select the shape you want to cut out, then use: Path | Difference).
Then you can either:
- Flatten the Bézier curves (use Extensions | Modify Path | Flatten Béziers) and export to DXF
- Use the "better DXF export" extension that you should be able to find with a search
The OpenSCAD script extrudes the shape using the separate layers for the different sections, you may find that the separate parts are not aligned - sorry about this but I can't figure out how Inkscape/OpenSCAD position shapes from DXFs.
The card slides out of the bottom of the holder.
It works for all of the cards I tried, it should hopefully work for you!
