customisable - Bookbinding awl insert - 20mm spacing default - openscad

Fits inside the 8.5" cradle

Designed for A4 paper folded to A5. Has spacing for awl positioned every 20mm with a border of 15mm at each end.

I am using this where I cut 5mm off of the top/bottom edges meaning that the holes end up 10 mm from top and bottom of the page but will work with out trimming .

I have marked this as a remix so people can find this but reality is that I made it from scratch just from measurements of cradle.

I have included the openscad file, there are 4 variables that need to be changed in order to modify the spacing:

first_edge_offset = how much of a gap from first edge
spacing=gap between the rest of the holes
stoplen=when to stop - 210 is a5 long side
awldia= size of awl if you want bigger or smaller
