Customisable (customizable) filament spool adapter

A very simple but fully customisable filament spool adapter, intended for Ender 3 but might be configurable to fit other printers too. Internal and external diameter, length of adapter and an optional lip on one end are all configurable.

The idea is to print two of these and insert one into each end of the filament spool, but you could make it longer and only print one if you prefer. They are meant to be just a push fit. I push mine fully into the spool, but many other designs have a lip so that they won't go all the way in; there is an optional lip if that's what you want.

I can't get this site's Customiser to work, so I can't see how the .scad file looks in that. I recommend you install OpenSCAD and edit it locally. Much easier and quicker.
