I had a toolbox full of different sized screw boxes which didn't fit well. The cardboard screw boxes get damaged and the lids tear. But I loved the way you can lay it down and use the box as a tray.So I wanted to replicate the good attributes and fix the problems. This openSCAD tool allows the size of the box to be altered and the text on the lid.I recommend printing in PETG-HF for durability of the clicky lid mechanism. I recommend printing the lid using variable layer height to ensure the pivots etc are a smooth as possible. The lid fits by inserting at an angle with one pivot engaged and then sliding the other pivot into place. There will be a little flex until it clicks in.The 3mf files are for example print settings and orientation.
