All the credit goes to AndrePruitt. I just added the ability to adjust the thickness of the straps. I felt the default was much thicker than needed, and therefore took longer and used more filament than was necessary. I prefer 0.6 for the arms, and 1.6 for the hooks. This makes it more flexible (but still very strong, if you are using a fine layer height). However, I have left the defaults to match the original.

Also, if you don't want a loop, it's okay to use a negative number for the oval width and 0 for the oval height, so cause the arms to overlap. You need a negative width because of the angle of the arms, but this does work.
