As a woodworker, you can use this marking gauge when you work with plywood, particle board, or any other board. For example, if you work with a 18 mm (~3/4") board, you can use it to:
- mark the center of the edge of the board (9 mm mark)
- draw a line 9 mm parallel to the edge (center line for a connecting 18 mm board)
- draw a line 18 mm parallel to the edge (edge line for a connecting 18 mm board)
- draw a line perpendicular to the edge, so you can follow a mark from one edge of the board to the other.
Because most printers slightly shrunk the internal dimensions, I've uploaded an exactly 18 mm, and a slightly larger version.
I've also uploaded a **fully customizable** version, so you can create edge marking gauges for boards with any thickness.
