After a friend designed a few 3d printed connectors for geodesic domes, I looked at and thought "That would be a fantastic parameteric." So I used this to teach myself scad and have been printing these since.
Select the type of geodesic dome you are building (1v or 2v), your strut material dimensions and shape, and this generates hubs and connectors. You can use an online geodesic dome calculator to come up with strut lengths.
This is NOT designed to be strong enough for climbing on or housing - you'd need steel or something like that. You might be able to cast a mold from these, however, particularly if you remove the "top" of the brace and cant the angles.
The connectors are labeled in the sockets for angles A and B.If I add 2V or 3V variants, the sockets will be labeled C & D as appropriate.
