This is a small holder, for storing micro hooks that are often used with a logic analyzer or other measuring equipment, for grabbing onto small contacts. It's inspired by the similar holder that is included with the Saleae Logic/Logic Pro when purchased now, but the one I have is an older model, where 9 pcs of the E-Z-HOOK XKM was included but no holder. This ensures the micro hooks stays in the holder, also if the whole thing is turned upside down. On paper, these hooks are supposed to be the same dimension at the middle of the stem, where the friction fit engages, but testing have shown (at least with the ones I have bought) that there are tiny differences between the two brands, and that is the reason there are two sets of files.
