Customizable Magnetic Lettering

This is a set of printed letters that can be assembled to create magnetic signs and tags. I was inspired by the incredible work of @sick02ss with their Magnetic Toolbox Labels but I wanted something I could customize myself. You can print whatever set of letters you require and assemble them using the included butterfly connectors. Half-butterfly connectors are also included to fill in the gap at the ends of your label. The connectors are modeled to be a snug fit to ensure that the assembled letters are fairly rigid and will not come apart, but I have found that you can disassemble them if you exercise care. The recesses on the back are sized for 6mm x 2mm magnets. They fit snugly so as not to pull out easily. You should not need a magnet in every letter. I used four on the “MAGNETIC” example and they were plenty. What you require for your application may vary. Letters are raised about 2mm from the base block.
