Every snowflake on your Christmas tree can be 100% unique using this parametric snowflake generator. The possibilities are endless!
This OpenSCAD script simulates what happens when you take a square piece of paper, fold it in half four times, cut around the edges and corners, and then unfold it again.
To make it look more snowflakey, the "fractal_layers" parameter will replicate the original paper pattern at half scale around the sides of the center and then repeat the process at smaller and smaller scales around the edges (up to 4 layers deep).
Merry Christmas!
*Update: I adjusted the shape of the snowflake so that it doesn't just spit out squares at right angles. Now it looks much more like a snowflake :)
