After quite some time of making my own plant pot bases one by one, each time, I have made this simple OpenSCAD parametric design that allows having a plant pot base with different diameters, from 40mm to 200mm.
It features an outward draft angle for the pot base edge (it can, weirdly, be inwards as well if you want).
The ribs are for water drainage and airflow.
**Some notes/tips:**
- you can play around with the thickness, 4mm will never be required probably; stick to 1.2mm for the smallest designs, 2.4mm for mid-ways and 2.8mm or more for the bigger sizes;
- for simplicity the rib height and rib width are set to be equal to the thickness, but you can change this in the code as you please;
- I have spent quite some time trying to get cleanest results from the print. Set a *Scarf seam length* of e.g. 5mm in your slicer for avoiding junction blobs. Also, having a standard 0.4mm nozzle and printing at 0.4mm *Line width* works fine, however make sure that for e.g. 1,2mm thickness (and con
