Made a bunch of large photo prints from my ski vacation last Winter. For some reason, Fujifilm didn't make standard sizes and it proved impossible to find frames that were the right size. What to do..?
The Customizable Photo Frame to the rescue. It consists of the following parts
* Back of the frame, which has a "hanger",
* Front of the frame (no hanger), and
* Clips that keep the front/back together, with the photo sandwiched in between.
The front and back are intended to be laser cut in Plexiglass. Since the back of the frame doesn't need to be transparent it can be made in some other material, such as Masonite. You need a 2D file, such as .SVG to laser cut. Either "flatten" the 3D (.STL) in your favorite CAD program or download the .SCAD file and use the modules called BackOfFrame2D and FrontOfFrame2D (export as .SVG).
There's a drawing attached, which illustrates the the parameters that can bed tweaked in the customizer. Frame width and height you can probably guess...
