Customizable Rippled Chalice / Vase

This design is a rippled chalice, which could hold a drink with a safe material, or it could serve as a vase. The design is a demonstration of the axial plotting mode of my function plotting library, which allows rendering arbitrary functions to form the surfaces of objects.

Aside from the work done by the library, most of the code volume is just some trickery to round out the lip at the top. The code sections for the general chalice shape and for the ornate outer surface are actually quite simple and would be easy to adjust arbitrarily with a different functional shape, so interesting derivatives should be quite straightforward.

The parameters of the existing functions are adjustable in Customizer.
