Customizable Silicone Molding Mold Box Maker

This is a Customizer to make molding boxes for use with Liquid Silicone Rubber for casting molds to be poured with epoxy resin.


Input the maximum dimensions of the object you need to create a mold of and it will create a form to hold the object and the silicone.

This customizer automatically adds the space needed for the silicone around your model. Recommended thickness of the mold surrounding the object I have read only to be 1/2" or approximately 13mm but this is customizable if you wish.

You must seal around the join between the wall and the base or you WILL get silicone leaking out. I made that mistake myself on the first attempt. You can use hot glue to seal around the bottom and I also suggest hot gluing the object you want to cast to the bottom to keep it stationary.
