Customizable spherical lens

This project is stil active, so I am happy to receive your feedback and turn this work into something amazing.

I'm dreaming about creating lenses with 3d-printer, using SLA technology + polishing.
To make it more comfortable, I've designed this customizable file. This model seems quite ugly in the Customizer, so import it into OpenSCAD or just download.

File allows you to get spherical lens (both "+" and "-") based on thin lens approximation. You can set the following parameters:

- Focal length;
- Reflective index of material;
- Lens diameter;
- Edge thickness (for positive lens);
- Will lens have plane surface or will be biconvex/biconcave with equal curvature.

As a designer it is difficult for me to develop such projects properly without having my own 3d-printer. Please give feedback to improve this design. Or tip me to see more cool projects).
