Customizable Tesselating Living Hinge

This is a living hinge that uses a tessellation of child objects to create an array of cutouts. This allows for very artistic living hinges that may or may not work. This thing is customizable to show off the features of the program. It is not intended to be printed (although of course you could). The idea is for the user to create a pattern which is cut out by a laser cutter or engraver.

In this program the object is a character which can be input by the user, the size of the hinge, the array type (square, hexagonal or triangular), the character, the amount of whitespace padding, the rotation of the characters, as well as centering are all customizable.
