CVT Transmission: simple, customizable, with reverse!

This is a simple (and therefore, hopefully, printable) continuously-variable transmission. The goal here is to print an actual, useable transmission for use in mechanical drive systems.
The concept is: to "shift gears" a friction wheel slides back and forth on a shaft, which changes the circumference at the contact point, and therefore, the gear ratio. (A similar transmission is often found in lawn mowers and snow blowers.)
WORK IN PROGRESS!
This is very preliminary at this point, so don't be too surprised if it doesn't give ideal results yet ;)
