The folks at Ham Radio Solutions (https://hamradio.solutions/cwhotline/) have come out with a really cool inexpensive device to allow one to communicate with Morse Code (CW) over the internet. This is a great way for beginner hams to learn the code and more experienced hams to polish their skills.
The device is called the CW Hotline and comes in a kit form. Soldering the components onto the printed circuit board is quite easy if you have basic soldering skills. The kit also provides a plastic box to house the circuit board and the builder must drill several holes to accommodate the three jacks, 2 LEDs, a switch, a notch for the key, and a slot for the USB connection. Drilling the holes is a fairly simple task however some builders have found that to be somewhat intimidating. I designed this box as an alternative to the box provided in the kit.
The CW Hotline can be assembled with either a straight key or a set of paddles (your choice) and one of the files has a notch f
