I liked the design of Dronnn's cyclone, but the bottom part was too tall and cumbersome. I thought that just a flat flange would do fine.
2 models included - bottom flange goes on the underside of your container's lid, and the top acts as a screw base for the cyclone body
Bottom piece was modeled in onshape using a flat extruded cirlce with holes, and excess material removed with "lighten" addon
For the top piece, i cut away the threaded part of an original bottom model and merged it with a slightly altered bottom flange in the slicer. The thread's scale is unchanged, so it should be the same as the original.
Printing: any solid material like PLA or PETG, perimeter count and infill% should be set fairly high for durability. Layer height - any for bottom piece, and something like 0.2mm for the thread (i used variable layer height to speed up the print)
Post-process: apply some light grease or silicone spray lubricant to the thread. The flange is attached using M5 screws, if the hole
