i recently modified my D-Bot x carriage setup, i removed the stock 40mm fan that is mounted to the rear of the carriage and instead used the following E3D shroud by DWONH. it fits great but does need some holes drilled so a ziptie can be used to really clamp it to the aluminium body.

i wanted to add a BLTouch to my printer just to learn the firmware settings and so on. so i whiped up this quick mount that replaces that fan in the rear with a BLTouch. there are also shims for all those various hotend setups people are running.
probably the best part about this mount is how close it gets to the hot end, it is centered behind the nozzle so you only have a Y offset of roughly 20mm in marlin
EDIT: Photos have been added and i have fully calibrated and ran many test prints using the autobed leveling and this thing works like a dream, the shims are great to swap out and get you in the right ballpark that way you dont have to use huge Z offs
