D-Twist

While designing D-Twist my main focus was on those two conditions that gave us all a headache – fully automatic and applicable to all existing containers on the market, and I think I succeeded fulfilling that demands. It is easy mountable, suitable to use with existing shipping containers and fully automatic. With strong compression and extension springs and specific curvature of locking plate, this design will lock/unlock itself by applying enough force in vertical direction. When placed on the ground mechanism is fully retracted inside corner box thus removing need to manually remove locking mechanism. P.S. Please download renders to better see text in the description.
