Da Vinci Code Cryptex baseed on Screen-used Prop

These files will help you build a replica of the Cryptex featured in the movie The Da Vinci Code. All the dimensions are taken from auction photos of the screen-used cryptex. The entire project was researched and model by me. I wanted to get as close as possible to the size and function of the screen-used prop. There are several ways the screen-used prop differs from commercially-sold Da Vinci Cryptexes.

This replica Cryptex can be "programed" to open with any code. Each cylinder can be changed. However, just like the screen-used prop, only the last two letters really matter. For the film they didn't want the actors to have to deal with all of the letters.

Inside is room for a standard 1/2" glass test tube.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Use supports for InnerTube and Gear. The rest should print fine with no supports. I printed all pieces out in metallic PLA except the LetterRing which are white.

Print one of all pieces EXCEPT the following:
Print 5 LetterRings
Print 5 Gear
