This is the bolt and bolt handle for the Daisy 880, Daisy 901, and Winchester 1977.
I made a metal bolt a while back and it worked very well but I used an AR15 bolt catch spring for the bolt arm and since it was not captured without the arm installed it made installation a pain. I wanted to redesign it with a captured plunger so I modeled it up and 3D printed one before making it out of metal to verify it fit correctly and worked as expected. It turned out pretty good. So I put one of Ron's probes on it and put it in the 822. It seals great and works perfect. The only tricky part to make is the plunger but it would not be difficult to make with a file and a power drill. Just chuck up a 3MM brass rod and spin it on the file to create the 6mm long by 2mm diameter tip then cut it off a few millimeters back from the 2mm end you just ground then you can grind the base down to 1mm thick. The rest is just tap the end for #6-32 to attach the probe and tap the side M4 to insert a 4mm
