I lasered this onto a bamboo cutting board and gifted this to my sister. I used these cutting boards. The difference in brightness is not part of the model, it is due to the different bamboo types that the board is made of. Your mileage may vary. My settings where:speed: 100mm/slaser: 100%scan-interval: 0.05mm
