This is the 3D print file for a customizable connection teaching aid for dancers (particularly West Coast Swing) that gives students a visual indicator when the proper amount amount of tension is reached.
Students often have difficulty seeing/understanding the exact pressure being applied between teachers' hands at various points during a pattern. This gives a quantifiable gauge for students to replicate their teachers' exact tension.
Example uses:
1. Show how much tension should increase during an anchor.
2. Help teach students to maintain constant tension through a left-side pass by keeping the colored mark in the visual window.
3. Place indicators at different lengths to show exactly how much tension to have at different parts of a pattern.
4. Give a visual danger-zone to prevent yanking their partners.
Use your favorite event wristband as the stretchy connector, stretch to desired pressure, mark the internal rod through the hexagonal window, then use colored tape, p
