Dark Shell – The Brooding Tealight Holder

You know when you want to create some atmosphere, but without risking setting your house, your cat, or your rental contract on fire?
That’s where Dark Shell comes in: the LED tealight holder that looks like it came straight out of a Nordic art film… but 3D printed.
A gothic-minimal shell, elegant on the outside, warm on the inside, wrapping your candle as if it were the last hope of humanity in a post-apocalyptic world.
...In reality it’s just PLA, but it looks damn good.
Important note about coloring (read this before complaining 😏):
The model in the photos is printed in matte black and hand-colored with acrylic markers to achieve the golden effect inside. If instead you’re lazy, impatient, or simply don’t want to get your hands dirty, the package also includes a pre-colored 3MF file, ready for multicolor printing.
Materials used in the photos:
- Outer shell: PLA Matte Black – Kexcelled
- Inner shell: PLA Silk Gold – Sunlu
But you can use pretty much any material:
