A bracket for attaching a David Clark headset controller to the hook built into many aircraft cockpits. The loop added to this part is oriented specifically so that when used in an Airbus A320 series cockpit the XLR cord from the controller will reach the panel. Printed using .4mm print head with .2mm layer height. Print at 45 degrees with 5 or 6 walls for max strength. No supports needed but a brim is recommended for bed adhesion. It will print fine with PLA, but I recommend PETG or ABS for long term durability. What changed from the original:Added a loop to fit over the in-cockpit mounting hookIncreased the amount of material between the tabs that secure the controller, making the part less likely to break in half between the tabsAdded surfaces so that the part can be printed in a 45 degree orientation, increasing part strength on the axes that get most of the stress while also not needing supports while printingAdded some fillets to some of the sharp edges
