dead space marker lamp base

made this for a friends brithday! printed as 2 parts (at 300% scale for the marker) then removed the bottom of the marker, painted it then sanded it back to allow light through. simple USB LED strip and it was done.

there is a slot in the base for the IR reciever to be pushed up through and another groove for the usb cable to exit at the back. i used some 30 minute epoxy to stick the 2 pieces together once painted.
