Thanks to the artists of the original models that I used to remix this into its own being.
This model has two specific purposes:
1. I wanted a Deadpool Space Marine and I joked with my friends that I could print one. They are playing W40K and talking about their models and I was thinking it would be a kick in the pants to print a DP space marine. I am all for purchasing from GW when you want their specific models, but sometimes I like a little humor in the fight.
2. A friend of mine just started 3D printing and has been a bit taken a back by the lack of quality in some of the table top gaming models he has found. He usually runs on Kick Starter and backs people making high quality models, so he can get his model fix. I wanted to show him that with a few tools and a couple disparate models, you can put them together to make what you want for when you want it (personal use only of course).
I used a combination of Meshmixer and Netfabb to weld this Frankenstein together.
