The Deathwatch Shield is designed to fit around a series of 8 structural core rods. These core rods can be made out of a material of your choice but the default scale is designed to accept 3/4 inch wooden dowels of up to ~4.5 ft. The full shield is meant to fit the proportion of my existing Space Marine Armor Set and the Deathwatch Armor Kit. This results in a shield that is around 4.75 ft tall.
Included is file called DW - Central Core Sizing Ring.STL that you can print to ensure your chosen structural rod will fit in the cavities of the shield body. Adjust the scale of this test ring till it fits securely around the rod but not so tightly you wont be able to slide the shield pieces on the structural rods.
There is a version of the shield which features none of the grip features, so you can develop your own grip solution if desired.
All emblems/accessories are separate if you do not want to inclu
