A decking hardware bracket I replicated for a coworker, as he couldn't find a replacement. Slots into a 1 1/4" ID square tube, allowing a railing to be set on top and secured with a screw at the back.
I printed it tilted back 45 degrees from upright, with the hole part down. I also had success laying it flat on the build plate (hole side down), or completely upright.
Tilted at 45 degrees yielded the best surface, and seemed to be the strongest.
Definitely use supports, and use a UV-resistant filament such as ASA, ABS or PETG.
