Deck Rail Planter Box Bracket

This is a bracket that attaches to the bottom of a planter box and anchors it over a deck's top rail. This is sized for a 2 x 4 top rail. (Actual dimensions 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches wide)

The bracket is designed with a drain and drip spout.

There are two versions, one with a screw hole to fasten to top rail and one without.

Designed for 1/4-20 bolts and hex nuts. The metric equivalent is M6-1 and hex nut.
Screw length is dependent on thickness of planter box. To mount my planter boxes I used 3/4 inch screws.

Rail fastener hole sized for #8 deck screw.
