Decorative VAWT

Love the idea of Vertical Air Wind Turbines spinning away in my garden. But most designs are very basic with little to no flash. So I designed this one to be able to sit in a garden and give a bit more beauty even if it's not spinning.

This design does need a bit more wind than simpler spinners. But, the airfoil blades do work and will spin in the opposite direction than expected.

You will require two 605 bearings (As this is going to be outdoors in the weather, I'd suggest buying the Glass and Nylon ones). A 5mm rod (Metal or Carbon Fiber) with a length of no less than 175mm. If you wish to use the stand to secure it to the top of a wooden fence, you'll need 3 M4 Countersink screws.
