Decorative Vawt

Just an ornamental vawt turbine for the garden. spins incredibly fast in low/moderate wind

The spiral is designed to be a great test for your printers vase mode capability's and is a great to look at garden feature when you're done.

Super spiral glue to the base AFTER putting m5x16 bolt through from Inside area and securing it tightly with nut. (once tight a dab of super glue is recommended as once you glue on the spiral the bolt top is inaccessible.)

Extra Parts Required..

16.5mm x 1ft long aluminium pipe (I used a piece of transair pipe)
4x.. m5x12 set screws
1x.. m5x16 set screw
6x.. m5 nuts
4x.. m5 light washer
1x.. F688zz Flanged ball bearing (8mm ID. 16mm OD. 18mm Flange. 5mm thickness)
2x.. screws with rawlplug for mounting
few mills of 99.9% isopropyl..
some petroleum based white spirit(!not the water based safe stuff!)..


Before assembly thoroughly wash out the bearing with isopropyl making sure not to introduce any water or dirt (wear latex gloves
