Deep Space Nine

This is a complete model of the Deep Space Nine from StarTrek.
It was downloaded from the google sketchup galery (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=10e3882c71567f28bdbd60b756975f5d&prevstart=0) and heavily modified to make it printable.
The result was a model consisting of 44 parts which all can be printed without support. They were all printed on a BetaPrusa V2 with a 0.25mm nozzle and 0.1mm layer thickness in green PLA.
It is a bit complicated to glue them together, so I used zip ties to fixate the position before adding glue.

The result was a very cool looking space station with lots of details.
