Photogrammetrically generated model of the jaw of a young deer from my personal collection. I found this while doing field work along the Utah/Colorado border. It appears to have had an abscess at the base of the first molar on the lingual side. The third molar has only begun to erupt.

While it's not bad I'm not entirely satisfied with the quality. The fourth premolar is a bit loose in the socket, I think it may have moved at some point while re-positioning the specimen on the turntable. This is probably the source roughness on the occlusal surface of the p4. I think I could probably clean up some of the noise on the m3 occlusal surface if I shoot some more photos focused on that feature. The same is probably true of the pathology. I may reshoot it in the future but just wanted to get this up for now.
