This project is a retrofit for a dehumidifier that had trouble with the coils freezing up.
Probably, no one else will build something like this, but the project has a nice case design that can be modified for other projects. I tried to make most of the features in the case selectable with flags in the front of the scad program. The mounting ears can be deleted, the display mounts and bezel can be deleted, the relay mount can be deleted, and the case tabs can be deleted. It takes a while to print this box... I would recommend printing one piece at a time. Half way through printing, I had the USB subsystem go down ... grrr. I then put the 2 prints on the SD card and printed from the SD card. The operation of the box is simple. It has a normally closed relay contact in series with the dehumidifier compressor supply. ( powering down the arduino causes normal operation of the dehumidifier). The arduino has a 10k thermistor probe clipped to the cold coils. The arduino monitors the coil t
